Real harm will never be gone
When all of my skin is drawn,
My liver too.
Drawn between cold and heat,
Can't limber up,
Can't get my mind off you.
The exposed are the ones that get cold.
The exposed are the ones that get cold.
Yes, they do.
And the cold ones, they will drop off.
The cold ones, they will drop off.
Just like you.
I am fit to run
A lesson in how to be numb;
You're still the limb that I can't find on my body.
Trace your fingers against mine, alone.
I have no room to take on
That you're no longer mine.
Ice cracks, so do I.
Hearts go blind as they are bound to do.
And the melt of my health,
A mockery and a mess of what was true.
The exposed are the ones that get cold.
The exposed are the ones that get cold.
Yes, they do.
And the cold ones, they will drop off.
The cold ones, they will drop off.
Just like you.
I am fit to run
A lesson in how to be numb;
You're still the limb that I can't find on my body.
Trace your fingers against mine, alone.
I have no room to take on
That you're no longer mine.
I am fit to run
A lesson in how to be numb;
You're still the limb that I can't find on my body.
Trace your fingers against mine, alone.
I have no room to take on
That you're no longer mine.

As a lifelong fan of psyche, I was delighted to have found this, stunned that I'd missed them for three decades and devastated by the news of Dallas' passing. Makes many of the album's lyrics even more poignant. I hear echoes of the Chocolate Watch Band, Long Ryders and both the pop and country sides of the Byrds. Stunning, and a contender for my album of the year. Iain H

From the start to finish, this is a powerful album. The only thing better than listening to it is seeing Skye Wallace and her band play live. jgoodeill
